Laser Hair Removal in Barrie
Our LightSheer laser in Barrie provides permanent hair reduction on the face and body, with a built-in chill tip to maximize comfort and help leave skin soft and smooth.

What Is Laser Hair Removal?
Using our LightSheer laser, the laser targets the melanin in the hair to provide permanent hair reduction on the face and body. It's useful for preventing ingrown hairs as well. Very light hair (blonde, grey or white) responds significantly less well to laser hair removal.
Our Laser Hair Removal uses a true laser (not IPL), with a built-in chill tip to cool the skin and maximize comfort. Treatment is done by one of our skilled laser technicians and is very tolerable. Many patients compare the procedure to a rubber band snap on the skin. Most people need 6–8 sessions so the laser can target hair across its different growth cycles.
What Laser Hair Removal Helps With:
- Unwanted hair on the face and body
- Ingrown hairs
Post-Treatment Care - Laser Hair Removal
There is no downtime with Laser Hair Removal so patients can return to their daily activities right away! The treatment area may appear slightly reddened for two to three days post treatment due to the heating of the hair follicle but will subside on its own. We recommend to avoid soaking in hot tubs or baths for 24 hours post treatment. To maximize results we recommend applying sunscreen on the treatment area for six weeks to protect the area. It's recommended to exfoliate the area one week after treatment to help prevent any ingrown hairs.
